Painted to a good tabletop standard, 1 Battleship, 3 Cruisers, 2 Heavy Cruisers, 6 Frigates, 1 Carrier make up my fleet so far. Also painted up some 5 civillian ships and some Torpedo Satelites.

Also on order are 6 Escort's amd 2 Ageis Sheild Cruisers.

Looks great. How sturdy are those flying stands? The one long capital ship looks like it could tip forward and fall over.

The bases are quite sturdy and attach to the models at their centre of gravity. There is more weight at the back of that ship with the engines and turrets which are metal.

Engines are a doddle to do. Painted Hawk Turquoise as a base. Dry brushed then a 40/60 mix of Hawk Turquoise / Skull White making sure it brushes on the area's surrounding the engines. Finally a mix of 10/90 of the colours. With this I paint a fine line around the outer edges and internal parts to the engine.

To make the engine glow better this should be the last thing you do after all other colours / washes / weathering.
