Hello folks.
I'm trying to assemble an Imperial Guard Demolisher barrel from the first model line.
when i assemble the barrel halves, they don't fit on the 'peg' on the mantlet? the barrel's hole
is too small, or the peg is too large. i have a Dremel and the correct bits to widen they barrel
hole. seems easier than trying to remove the peg! has anyone else run into this? i built 2
of these when they first came out, but i don't remember having this problem last time.
i appreciate any thoughts or advice.

Image 1,2 and 5 are of the metal version released before the current plastic version. which is designed the same as the plastic version.
images 3 and 4 are the version before that. and are the ones i have. you're missing the Mantlet for that version.

edit:
added pic showing the 3 pieces i'm working with seperated.
