August's theme of 'Dear Leader' was, admittedly, a fairly two-horse race between 2 fantastic entries - speedfreek's Master of the Forge and petethomas' Chaos Lord. However, as we all know, there can be only one winner and one entry pulled away to be declared the winner.

Congratulations to speedfreek for winning the August Miniature of the Month with his brilliant 'Master of the Forge' model!

Special mention to petethomas' Chaos Lord miniature which came in at second place.

Spoiler:

I'd like to thank everyone for entering what was a very busy MotM competition with a huge bunch of entries! Remember, keep an eye out on the Painting and Modeling Forum in the coming days for September's competition!

This was the figure my vote went to, I suspected that it would do well. A very nice piece.

@Mr. Nobody: I can tell you that the techmarine's gun is made from an ork zapp gun without the orky bits

Damn it! I didn't even notice the voting topic! Oppl, for the next time, maybe you can post a link to it on the Mini-of-the-Month topic? In any case, great one speedfreek.

Thank you all for the votes!

I never saw the tread about voting, but I guess it's around here somewhere...

As someone said, the gun is basically a zzap gun on a robotic arm.

Sure thing, I'll put it in the original thread that the voting topic will appear in the P&M Showcase after the deadline. Once the entries are processed and the voting topic is created, I'll add a link to it in the very first line of the original thread!
