So, doing this guy as a Magos Explorator, rules wise counts as Straken. Yellow stuff isn't greenstuff.

Biggest question is basically about greenstuff though. I need to give this guy a robe, obviously, but I've never worked with greenstuff before in the slightest. So, big question one is how hard would it be to do a robe? I'm sure there's a tutorial around, could someone point me to it? And how likely am I to screw it up, and if I do, how easy/hard is it to fix? With this guy being my big centerpiece, I'd rather not mess up on him, so I'm worried about how much my inexperience will hinder me.

If you've never greenstuffed before, a robe probably isn't the easiest place to start, especially if you want the final model to be an army centrepiece - cloth needs to drape naturally or it looks awful.

There's no standard robed torso and legs you could use instead?

If there is, I don't know of them. There's also the issue of making the backpack and mechandrites look natural on a robe already in place, and not just stuck on an existing model.

Best advise is to find a pre fabed one but if you want to try. Put a couple of blobs on paper play around with it. Wet down your sculpting tool with water to keep it workable. Let them dry a day and pull them off the paper a test fit. Then just trial and error till you get it right.

Vampire counts Plastic Necromancer. Cut of the spiky collar, hood his head a little. Make mechandrites creep out of his cloak and make that skull into a servo skull. Replace the staff head with a suitable techpreisty axe. Make the servo arm look like it is coming from beneath the cloak through a ragged hole.

You see, to Auston, everyone is a Death Star; there's only one way you can take it and that's through a small gap at the back.
