Exactly as the subject says - just saw a gallery picture and realised how awesome a stormraven would look once it'd been 'optimised' by green skins.

Anyone done one? Got any pictures?

If anyone's interested, this was just posted up on GW UK. Couldn't not post it after having started this thread

...so you started a thread asking a question, and then proceeded to answer it yourself a week and a half later.
I feel like this was a conversation that could have said in te introspection phase.

I'm not criticizing, well much I guess. Sometimes we all hit a fizzle. I just calls em hows I sees em.

Meh, whatever. A tad unnecessary in my opinion but no harm done.

In my mind, I posted the picture to call it job done. It's no longer an unanswered question! But that's enough justification for one day.

Thread closed? Why not...

He wanted to see an Orkified Stormraven. He wanted people to add examples, hopefully for people who might want to do it to use as inspiration.

He could not have foreseen GW putting up an example from their Flickr pool a week later. No need to bite his head off.

So what is this counts-as, exactly? Battlewagon? Chinork? DIY Battlefortress, IA style?

When the SR came out, I immediately thought of Orks stealing one, ripping off the wings and putting wheels/tracks on it, to make a very cool battlewagon. But then I saw the price of the SR :(

You know there is something wrong with the Chibi Hawk when the ork version looks more plausibe and aerodynamic than the Imperial one.

It's great but a little too by-the-numbers. I'd love to see some more details, such as a grot hanging onto a wing or peering unsuspectingly into a turbine.

I'll take the case! But I don't play Orks yet. Until that day comes, I will continue to kibbutz from the sideline.
