I finished painting the Crown Jewel of my army. I commissioned Ron Saikowski of "From The Warp" fame to create the model for me. I thought he turned out rather well...

It does look rather nice and pretty close to what I imagine he'd look like. Can't wait for the last book even though it will most likely leave me sad.

Nice figure, although i've always thought of him wearing purple armor though would fit him more

Well the colour translation doesn't come through that well but he is wearing purple armour with Bone and Gold trim. He did in fact have a Force Axe that he took off of a Howling Gryphon after killing him. Prior to that he had a force staff. For awhile he also possessed the infamous "Soulspear". This is an interpretation of that.
As far as the story goes, I am an avid follower of the Soul Drinkers and have been reading the individual chapters as they have been released in the Hammer & Bolter e-zine. I am well aware of what has happened thus far and I am not going to spoil it, though Lysander certainly does not kill Sarpedon, he even has pity and a grudging respect for him. I will afford you this though, The Soul Drinkers are NOT in fact successors of the Imperial Fists, their Geneseed is as pure as the Ultramarines. They are one of the lost chapters...

Very nice model and great attention to detail. I feel I'd rather see the power axe with Sarpedon. Have you done Telos yet?
Anyhow...
They are one of the lost chapters...
I've thought this as well and cannot wait to read the next H&B chapter.

Very nice!! He looks pretty much like I had him pictured (replacement leg and all). Are you planning to do all of them?

Perhaps. When finances allow. I already have lots of my Army named already...hehe. I suppose Tellos would be the next logical choice. Have him count as Astorath and make his assault squad basically a Death Company squad. We'll see...
