So i got 50p left i think to my calculations, any points to buy with it?

Carapace armor is a waste, it's too expensive for very little additional saving throws. Putting everyone in Valks/Vends is risky, especially since it leaves your big sexy assault guns all by their lonesomes.

i do love the idea of out flank the valks/vends, but if you think the 4+ is rubbish and i drop it that 120p more and the left over 50p=170p to spend on something , any ideas? i could also drop the astropath and that 200ps to buy a unit to get a defsesive unit fot the medusas!

Vets with 3 plas and carapace is 145 not 135.

Grenade launchers aren't worth it generally (the krak is weak, the frag is S3, nearly worthless).

Plasma pistols are a little expensive for what you get.

Missile launcher is over-expensive for what you'll use the squad for (with Harker in that squad you're either doing anti-personell work with his HB or wasting his shots). If you must use him then give the squad a heavy weapon that blends, another HB or even an AC.

Seeing as you seem to like special characters, consider shifting around a bit by removing one of the valks and turning the remaining one into a vendetta to save up 130pts, and get Marbo for 65 pts, and make two of the veterans travelling in vendettas to have demolitions kit. Some serious pwnage will occur.

I agree that the missile launcher should be swapped out for a heavy bolter to synergise with harker. The vets will all likely want to get close right? Consider changing plasma for meltaguns, thus saving you quite a few points and allowing you to charge after firing. Melta removes the problem of your guys dying and without carapace it's a really annoying thing. Also, rapid firing means no assaulting afterwards. Melta are great for everything really!

With the points saved maybe put power weapons or power fists on the vet sgts..

i would truthfully say if you wanna run in the valk/vendetta drop the plasma and the carapace and give them melta guns and give them the upgrade that gives them the melta bombs and demo charges then scout across the board, melta 3 things and multi assault before the enemy can move anything! But if your going for more gun line keep the plasma.

Also if you know your vets will be hot-dropped into combat dont waste their shots. Just in case, give them all shotguns. A 12 inch Assault lasgun is basically all it is. Every shot counts and having a squad full of assault weapons is a good start
