This is a hobby project and i couldn't find anywhere to put this thread O.ö mods are free to switch it to the right place

So i was looking around for a new army to start after getting my tyranids and Tau in order. In the end i decided on Thousand Sons.
But the problem is i dont like them in the CSM book...they just dont sit right with me. I love the fluff, the look of them and the Thousand Sons book is one of my all time favorites. I dont want a Pre-heresy army because i think they are awsome after they break off.
So with the new GK codex out i thought that this is basically what the Thousand Sons army should look like! Everyone is a psyker and in all honesty i think the Grey Knights are one of the most beautiful models that GW has produced in a while. With this i am going to create a Thousand Sons army with the GK dex. I am not just jumping the bandwagon but ye people will probably think so. I thought about just using SM rules but...the Brotherhood of Psykers just screams Thousand Sons.

Now i intend to use a lot of greenstuff on the army and i am not That skilled at it. I want the army to look magical, that all. I'm not using their storm bolters but instead im going to wreath the arm in warp energy, or something like it, to represnt their shooting. I love everything heavy so probably two Purgatation Squads with Psycannons. These will be me Pyrae units (in the book Thousand Sons they manipulate fire). Instead of a weapon they will basically be burning or have flames blazing around them.
Strike Squads will be based on the ones in the HH book. Warding Staves will be the Raptora or Pavoni (i cant remember which one is the Kine Shields one), Psycannons are Pyrae and so on. The armor itself will be greenstuffed treated to have wailing faces on the shoulder pads and the ingravings on their armor i think i will GS over and put some glyphs on. I have a few TK and intend to use their Kopesh blades for force weapons.
I'll have two dreadnaughts in the army, probably, and they will be converted demon princes which will be modeled casting warp magic. They will be tzeenched themed so bird head and wings. For HQ I'm keeping it simple and bringing Ahriman as a Librarian. To be honest i dont really want/need much more out of my HQ.

This is a fluff army and isn't supposed to be uber competetive GK (hence no Draigo or Crow) and is for my own benefit as a hobbiest and for some fun games with a cool, unique army. My friends barely care about meta game and those things and we try to have fun (:
feel free to give advice, critic and such. I'll try and post pics when i get down to acually getting the models themselves, Demon Prince/Dreadnaught if first on the list!

So i got my Demon Prince and started piecing it together. Havn't gotten the "Tzeentch" piesces i need yet but they are on their way ^^ kinda sad that I'm not going to use the swords you get in this pack they are absolute gold! In a few days i should have the things i need (hopefully) And here are some pictures of my Demon Princes/Ven Dreds arms.
