So i will be brief on this. Let me say this is not a venue for a rant by me or anything i just wanted to put this out there so people can be ware of this preson. On 2011/09/19 i got a message from them saying

"I can give you everything you want apart from Space Hulk but I would give Mphiston,Dante,an extra 5 Sanguinary Guard,venerable dread and a Carry case. What would you want for this? "

This was in response to a posting about a necron army i had

From this we agreed on a trade an they sent me a message later saying:

"They just said 1-3 days. I sent it express over seas tracking shipping. I'll go check the receipt. "

I told them i shiped mine, and they said i should be expecting soon.

Then i get this message from them:

"I have reason to believe you've scammed me? Sorry for the accusation but you haven't been online since the trade and it hasn't arrived yet. "

That was two days after i shipped, we never agreed on express three days so i sent it good and cheep.

The days come and past and nothing, we have som eother pleasnt messages back and forth and then i asked why they hadnt come i get this:

"Same goes for you. I did not send it 3 day I just sent it first class? I don't know how many days that should be they told me 2-5"

So i wait and wait and agian the time pases. At this point i have a day or so before i am out my $500 dollars of models. I gave it another day and cancelled my shipment so i would only be out the round trip of my package rather then my entire army.

So like i told the mod i still haev my stuff, i am out allmost $50 bucks but thats i guess just my problem now. As they are still trying to trade stuff here on daka i just wanted people to be ware.

I have sent them a few PMs but got nothing back

In that case, how did you cancel the shipment several days after sending it out? There is no way I know of to actually do that.

My understanding was Brits cannot get tracking on packages sent over seas to the States here. I might be mistaken as I havent ever mailed anything from there to the States, but thats what I have read in other threads.

I don't know about tracking into the USA but as for outgoing mail, Express International Mail has tracking. Priority International does not.

I have to agree, i dont think either party was going to send their minis to the other.
Ban them both would seem to be the fairest thing to do

No ban, we have to hear both sides of story first before we can establish an accurate order of what happened.

I haven't ever had to cancel a shipment sent through USPS, but I did cancel a shipment the day it was to arrive shipping through FedEx ground, which is their cheapest shipping method. It might be worth looking into before implying that the OP is fibbing.

USPS (which is what the OP used supposedly) does not per my local post office employee whom I asked this afternoon when sending out a couple trade/sales of my own (DeJolly, your stuff is on the way!). I've seen this unlikely scenario a couple of times in transaction reports which is why I asked about the method of shipment as the private couriers do allow cancellations but public mail does not. Barring a scan of the post office receipt showing around $50 paid for the mailing dated prior to the original post, I'm going to have to call shenanigans on this TR. Best case scenario is that the OP agreed to ship simultaneously but planned to actually ship once he recieved the other part but ran into someone who was planning to do the same. Worst case scenario is that neither side planned on shipping and was hoping that the other side would be gullible enough to ship theirs in an international trade. Kellymatthew37, I suggest you scan in your post office as I don't think this TR is going the way you originally planned.

Actually USPS priorty mail international takes 6 to 10 days and you can cancel any overseas shipment through usps before it leaves the counrty. (800-275-8777) This is the customer service number for them so you can if you like, if you need help with canceling a shipment. Warboss you seem pretty sure that i am lying on this, kinda weird you jumped right there but its ok. Every one here is entilted to their opinon. I think its a little funny that you jumped on me when all i was trying to say was heads up, I didn't say i wanted anything out of this, i havent demanded anything, or asked that they be banned. I had a bad experiance, Live and learn. You guys can hash out what ever you will.

If I'm proven wrong, I have no problem apologizing if you truely are the exception to the rule. You're not the first person to say they've cancelled a shipment and in all other situations the poster has simply never posted any proof of actual shipment. Just like the old "family emergency" delaying trade shipments, it's *usually* just an excuse. (Seriously, trading/selling online is about the most dangerous thing you can do to your loved ones...) You'll have to bear with us old folks in the swap shop that feel like teachers getting the "dog ate my homework" line. Either way, my post office employee was indeed wrong as their is a PS 1509 form that can be filled out to recall mail so sorry for saying its not possible. Either way, posting the original shipping receipt still would still be nice to prove that you sent it out in the first place. Just as an FYI, I'm not holding you to any higher standards than I hold myself. If you look in my gallery, I actually do upload any receipts for international trades to prove I sent them (no problems yet but simply just to assaude international buyers).

Posting the receipt would really help with this, Kelly. If RandomSauce19 could reply giving their side (and why their package has not been received, or was not sent) that would also be helpful.

Also, at this point I am going to have to unfortunately put the usual red text reminder...
Any posts not adding helpful information to aid in the resolution of this particular transaction report will be deleted from this point forward.

Helpful posts would include first-hand information about a trader involved, specific information/experience about cancelling a package delivery, or other related data. Sarcastic comments and speculation are NOT helpful, and will be deleted.

Not sure if its relevent but international tracking from the UK is £4:95 on top of the normal mail price and it is not possible to cancel after it has left he post office.
3 days seems a bit early to question you also as i have had priority mail that has taken 5 weeks US to UK as it can be in customs for several weeks.

Or they were gone because he did ship them, and something happened. Not wanting to be on a side, but we need all the facts of what could/could not have happened, but since neither side is putting any proof of their story in the open, I don't think anything can be solved.

I think the best thing for everyone ( both sides and Dakkites )
is to hold off the speculation and wait for either of them to show a Receipt!

I always keep my receipt till the other side clearly states they have receive what i sent. (same goes for ebay users, i keep receipt till i get a feed back )

Given that some people apparently can't resist posting up conjecture, I'm gonna Lock this thread temporarily while things get sorted.
