1. I actually don't know. Conversion Beamers are kind of odd, and I need about 8 of them. Buying 8 off forgeworld is about $100, so that makes that a no. But besides that, I also need some smaller variants (other than the Heavy Contemptor version) for the same reason I need the big ones. The reason is super-heavy. In fact, it's so heavy that I also need 4 Thunderfire cannons... anyone know how to convert those? I have some plasticard on the way, is that the best bet?

I'm actually thinking about the new Necron Immortals, in regards to Conversion Beamers.



Depending on how the box is set up and if these are plastic or Finecast...they might be the trick.

That is awesome. Now I just have to wait until November! Plastic or Finecast doesn't really matter to me, although from what I've heard the resin is more malleable than the plastic (which is a freaking rock sometimes).

Well it depends on how the model proper is set up.

If it's done in a certain way, it will be as simple as getting a hold of a Heavy Bolter Devastator arm or something like that so that it appears as though the Techmarines are actually 'holding' the Conversion Beamers.

You could just as easilly have kitbashed a las-cannon and plasma cannon, or perhaps taken a smattering of parts from a land speeder to a plasma gun. The necron models will for sure be a hot ticket item for a bit as they do bring the convenience of creating a quick and simple conversion beamer.

This is also a fairly easy and nice Conversion Beamer.
Guy used a Multi-Melta, a Servo-Harness, metal Techmarine(the unhelmed one), and a claw from a Servitor.

I would like to bring up that there have been a few conversion beamers made from plastic and metal out there.
