"Join Space Marine Community Manager THQSledgehammer as he gives you the first look at many aspects of our Free Co-op DLC Exterminatus. Get a sneak peak at the online settings within the game mode along with a snap shot of the Missions & Arenas."
Aside from him not being a very good player (not many devs are top-level players though hehe), it seems like it'll be fun.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I think he's a better player when he's not recording, because anytime you see a gameplay video, they usually try to make you want to play the game, just so you can "show them how its done"
anyway, I think this is going to be awesome!
and he says that theirs going to be more DLC this makes me a happy ork

Eh, so far I'm not impressed. If all we get is an alternate version of story mode with a co-op element and where you don't leave an area, then I'll get bored with it really quickly. I'd like to see new enemies, weapons, etc. etc.
Also, I can't see level 41 players going at this for very long. There doesn't seem to be any rewards outside of achievements.

You advance from arena 1 to arena 4 in Left 4 Dead style IIRC.

Ya, that's what it reminded me of, Left 4 dead style...
And I hope they add an endless horde mode thing, kinda like Nazi Zombies in WaW...I want to see how long me and a few friends can last against thousands of orks
That would be something they could add so it doesn't seem as much like "alternate Co-op campaign"

It doesn't seem like "alternate co-op campaign" in any way whatsoever to me...

Try wasting time instead, it's much more fun than waisting time

It's probably more like "Orks are charging these objectives, so kill them all".

I just hope it goes more MP than SP in the ways of shooting; I try as much as I can to play the Campaign (On Easy!) To be a shooter, but you run out of ammo far to fast, not to mention the whole "Have to be in melee range to regen health" dealio.
Also, Xbox Battle Brothers, I call our Tact Marine slot
I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Exterminatus uses the same general mechanics as multiplayer.

Makes me happy, unlike Campaign....

I say this because it uses the exact same experience system and even the same classes as multiplayer. And the same perks.
So it's basically multiplayer as co-op instead of competitive.

As it is I really don't see it adding much new to the game. They just added tau to DoW2, why couldn't they drop them in Exterminatus? Or eldar for that matter.
While we're at it why no missle launcher, flamer, power fist, etc?

Because the Flamer is kinda hard to seem logical, the Thunder Hammer and Powerfist work the same, and the Plasma Cannon's splash damage attack also renders a missile launcher useless.

The DLC is free? That makes me ever so happy to hear, its like adding a mod or a patch to it instead of saying "Oh the game wasn't complete when you bought it so we want you to pay more for a complete game.".
