This is one of my favorite painted up pieces of work! however I've put a semi-gloss varnish over it and I am thinking of somehow tone down the shine! comments/advice!

Nice job! Some highlights may have done some good, but is still a nice model!

I've done hightlights on it but the gloss varnish has somewhat change the outcome via the shine. I'll see if I can get some better lighting and take another picture of it.

TBH, I like the shininess. It gives it a antique lacquered look, perfect for Honored Brother Smashanoobicus there.

Here is somewhat a better view, if you look closely to the feet you will be able to see the highlights, of course the gloss varnish and lighting hides what you will actually will see when holding the model!

Really nice! I use brush-on Liquitex Matte Varnish (you can get it at art supply stores), which is easy and not too expensive, to kill the shine from gloss varnish.

Nice white, very crisp.

Looks sweet, a very neat hand you have there, also like the tone of blue
