We'll find out soon enough eh.

This is a bit left-field, but can I make a request? If anyone owns some of Vic's Guard models and also has some of GW's new GSCult Neophyte plastics, could you do a scale pic with them side-by-side?

I like the idea of corrupted IG models in my GSCult, but the plastic Cadians make me boak so I need an idea if Vic's guys will be suitable instead.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

I can do regular IG cadians side by side Vic, or space marines. Havent had a chance to pick up the new neophytes and not sure if I even want to until a start collecting box appears

Well aye they work with GW guard, but the Neophytes are better proportioned and a bit taller than either the old metal Guard or the plastic Cadians in the same vein as the Skitarii plastics, hence why I'd be more comfortable seeing a side-by-side first. Like you say, the Neophytes are expensive enough on their own

Well that depends which Neophyte Hybrid set you ask about - the ones in mining suits (couldn't tell ya), or the Neo Hybrid Squad, which is a mix of Cadians and upgrade parts.

Speaking of, I've been working on Mixed Species heads, anyone have an interest in me developing them out and Vic making them available?

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Greetings folks.
I'm currently in The USA at Reaper. So if any of you are getting to ReaperCon, come and say hello.
The Sledgehammer BFG first casts look good, Being the first shots there will be a few spots that look a bit 'soft'. apparently that is normal at this stage, and should be sorted out, with a few notes we have, before the full production run happens.
The model you see in the pics id cast in hard ABS plastic, but it is looking very likely we will be able to get the production run done in HIPS Styrene.
The crew are PVC, I am pleased with how they have come out. I'd encourage anyone who has not tried 'Bones' to give it a go. I will also be releasing a resin version of the crew, closer to the KS shipping.
Thanks BrookM for posting the new stuff

You have any bald female heads?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I didn't even know about those new female torsos. Niiiice.

And yes, they'd work well for steam punk. I think I may have to use a couple for junior warcasters and the like.

Oooh, I like that idea....

Though right now, I am being roped into a GorkaMorka campaign, so I will be doing steampunk orks for a while....

The Auld Grump - I am actually thinking about orks with bright and shining steampunk vehicles... not just junk on wheels.

Be strong Dirty Dog, have faith in the Emp-er I mean Vic.

Also, got my first batch of Arcadians last week, man they look good, both the men and women. I'll post some pics once I get them all done. They're very friendly to kitbashes with Warlord WWII kits by the way, I've been giving them all kinds of kit and weapons.

Another fun fact, some of mad robot's weapons fit really well with vic's stuff. I've been using his plasma guns because I've got a ton laying around and they fit vic's stuff really well. Was pleasantly surprised that that worked out so well.

That is a really nice torso.
Will there be a male variant? I think I would prefer that as I am not too keen on armour having breasts.
Also, I guess this means even more trouble for deciding how I want my IG foot soldiers to look like

I know Victoria is primarily guard scaled, but has anyone used their riot shields on marines?

Looking to make some breachers, and good MEQ shields are hard to find.

The shields are a little small for Marines, Nevelon, at least from my memory. I do believe BrookM has posted about it previously.

That said, if you can egg Vic into letting me make MEQ bits, well, go for your life!

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Nope, wasn't me, I don't play MEQ (yet)!

But now that I have been summoned, I'm curious to hear if there's been any progress on the Matilda to date.

I'm dying for the day when we get to see plastics. Either a Wargames Factory-style or, sweet merciful mercy, an official Games Workshop release, but...

Vic, there's gotta be a way to make it happen.

Lovely alphaecho, cheers. Not quite as tall as the new GW models based on the relative posing, but damn close. Ugh, now I have to find a slot in my funding schedule for a proper infantry order.

I do apologise if I've made a critical hit on your Consumer Resistance..

Victoria Miniatures do tend towards the more heroic scale of 28mm but definitely come across as better proportioned than, say, the plastic Cadians.

The newer resin kilted units are better than the original lead versions and they weren't poor to begin with.

Greetings,

The Victorian 10 Woman Squad and the Victorian 5 Woman Squad are now available, as well as individual components, Female Victorian Torsos, and Female Pith Helmet Heads.

The popular Victorian Guard are all available as Universal Squads, this means you can choose whatever Victoria Miniatures weapons you would like to equip your squads with, or you can use plastic weapons from other troops.

And for those looking for some gribbly hybrid heads, the Cthood Alien Heads are now back in stock.

Thanks for reading, V
