Hey guys, I finally got some Cadians to start my pirate army, and now I have kitbashed 6 guys toghether (beardy sw-heads, eldar-scorpion-chainsword, other random stuff). The point is, no two guys are suppoed to look the same, so I want to paint them with different skin-colors. Can you please tell me how to paint black skin? Id also appreciate it if you could tell me how to do other skin-colors that you just happen to know how to, like native american red skin or something that looks asian.

Can you help me with this?

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

GW has a handy face-painting tutorial. http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m820035a_Painting_Faces_Redux.pdf

One of their better tutorials.

Thank you very much for bringing this up. Do you know where I can find the first part of that tutorial?

Personally I keep it simple and just use a black undercoat, dark flesh and a brown ink shade.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Most of that stuff is all basic knowledge, though, so isn't as useful as Part 2.
