That's a lot of red but I guess it is the bloody rose. It'd be nice to get a close up on one of the mini s, can't really see much of the detail but from what I can see it looks good

There are so many things wrong with this post, it isn't even funny.

Okay, so:
- Order of the Bloody Rose is one of the Orders Militant of the Convent Sanctorum. I.e. an established Order in the fluff.
- PMS usually occurs before menstruation so really has nothing to do with the 'bloody' part of your bon mot.
- Jokes about SoB and 'their cycles' are tired and old.

Nice set of models their, is that fleur de lys on the rhino freehand? If so kudos. Also the red on the rhino looks really good how did you do it, i've had some real probs doing red over large areas. I've used multiple coats of blood red over calthan brown which isn't too bad but still a bit streaky. Is your red a GW paint it looks a different shade to ones i've seen?

The fleur on the rhino hatch was freehand (my wife). The one on the display board was a stencil.

The red for the Rhinos was the old Citadel blood red primer. The red for the exorcists and the Immolators is Fred Meyer's red primer (close but more cherry than blood red).

I have a tendency to be a bad boy and prime my minis the main color that they will end up being.

Thanks i'll keep an eye out for some of that primer and do some testers to see if i can get it better than my current methods.

Yeah, pretty much hit up any department or hardware store and grab a couple cans of red primer. Get some sprue or leftover rhino doors and run some test models.

The only problem that you get is that you get less contrast than a standard black prime with red over it.

Makes me want plastic sisters, they are so overdue! Id settle for forge world resin sisters too!

As much as I would love plastic sisters, I love that I can drop a sister and have little chance of damaging it beyond a backpack popping off.

I would love some new sculpts and/or plastic though. Resin though, meh.

I always love seeing Sisters armies, there's never enough of them. (I'm planning on making a SoB army if they ever get a decent codex and plastics)

I'd like to see some closeup pics on the models if you're willing.

To weigh in on the old primer discussion... for Red I have had good luck with both the Coat D' Arms - Angel Red, and the Army Painter - Blood Red for my Blood Angels. If I recall correctly I think the oat d Arms stuff is actually the old GW Blood Red.
