Just finished this guy up:

Had a good time with pustules and purple ink, picking out maggots, etc. This model was a lot of fun to paint. The base is in pretty rough shape...one day that will bother me enough to fix it. Anyway, thanks for looking! (Comments welcome!)

That is an old school model. It looks cool. Like the purple eyes.

Really not fond of the sculpt but really fond of the paintjob.

Well, he lack the usual Jolly appearance and has turned into a really grim and scary monster.

Choise of colours and with the great sword removed you have managed to make it very much your own creature.

Good work, both style and paintjob. Its a bit on the grey dull side, with basicly just the eyes to offer contrast, but I suspect that is the effect you aim for because its a well done grey/dull

Thanks for sharing

I was indeed going for a more muted scheme than usual--I always thought GUO looked very cartoonish, so I was trying to avoid that. Removed the sword/chains/and crazy-tongue for the same reason. I might still give him a weapon to replace the sword, but at the moment I'm liking the bare-fisted look.

Thanks for the comments! (Additional C&C still welcome!)
