Allways wanted to use this model for something usefull and now that the Ctans are so vague i feel justified in using this one as a stand in.

The short of the fluff is that this ancient race where lured by the ctan to give up their essence for the knowledge of the universe, bending their minds and withering their bodies. This knowledge made them able to bend time and space but left them hollow shells driven by a singular will to grasp the few mysteries that the universe still offered them. As a servitor race to the necron empire they are unlikely to ever achieve true power. Their few worlds are ruled over with an iron fist, and the necrons regard them as eccentric seers and madmen.

Once again im sorry about the lousy camera...

I might be wrong, but that looks awfully small for a Monsterous Creature. I'd double check that everyone loves it before you start throwing that down on the table.

Looks like a pretty sweet model though! Old and creepy, like a C'tan oughta be.

Thanks and yearh, hes a bit small, but i think i can take into account when he would be visible by saying that measuring 2 inches above his head would be reasonable. The base is a termi sized one, and he is as tall as the upper edge of a monolith portal.

I'm building 2 converted C'tan and decided to put them on 60mm bases, the original models come on 40mm but a T7 monster needs a bigger base imho. I do love the old Slaan dude... you need Zoats for Spyders now... ;-)

Slann - C-tan with Zoats as Spyders. Love that Idea. The Slann is just creepy looking but otherwise looks good.

Update:

Just bagged me one that was unpainted. Will be nice to see how they look side by side with the necrons... pretty damn old school if you ask me.
