Hi folks,

I figure there might be one or two Supers fans here, so I thought I'd post the link to this:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/211492152/crossover-miniatures-a-new-superhero-miniature-lin

"Super Heroes you can modify? Villains to suit your needs? Henchmen built to fit you unique villain? Let's make it happen!

What We are Going to Make for You
Our vision is to produce 8 Heroes/Villains with three head options apiece (for a total of 8 models and 24 different heads). The heads will be generally universal to bodies of the same general size. We also plan a unit of four henchman with three head options apiece, so that's three different types of henchmen from the same body.

A special treat for our kickstarter supporters will be the inclusion of all three heads for each model. After the kickstarter is over, models will be sold with only one head option."

It's the Kickstarter link to a line of Superhero or Villain miniatures that are built "generic" with ability to use different heads and possibly accessories to make a custom figure. The per unit price seems pretty good to me at roughly 5 bucks (US) a fig. I am admiitedly a huge superhero nut, but just in case someone here likes 'em too, figured I'd pass it along.

One more quick link to the "villain" pose.

Hi lads, glad you like the look of them! There's no plans to sell the heads in bulk at the moment. If can be very expensive to make a mold with only one head type in it. Our current plans are for the heads to come in sets of three, three heads for one model. After the kickstarter, it will be one head with each body, then you can purchases heads in fours or eights, though each set will only have one of each.

Of course they may not be produced at all if we don't reach our kickstarter funding goal. And of course we are open to all sorts of negotiation depending on your needs as we are small and hungry.

We're hoping to fit in size wise with the larger 28s out there.

Drop me a line or post here if you have any other q's. How many heads were you talking about?

I sadly don't play any super hero RPG's or Wargames. I can't say I have any interest in what was posted.

The henchmen in all honesty seem abit more interesting to me, and seems to have alot more appeal. I could see them getting used in alot of games. From modren settings like World of Darkness, to even a Necromunda Gang. Heck. I could even see using them in a Rouge Trader Campaign.

=O

That comic book henchmen look has alot of appeal in all honesty.

That's one of my great hopes, the henchmen are there for a much wider audience. If that's all your interested in your always welcome to just take the henchmen if your a supporter!

If we get this thing off the ground I plan on a few more sets of matching henchmen, guarding and command types and another pack of advancing or a pack of special weapons. I think this particular type of models got a lot of mileage in it, especially with a wide variety of heads available.

And now they are over-funded! This is awesome as it means that anyone at a higher level of funding gets bonus figures! Hop in now as the door prizes keep getting better, and anyone in the initial funding group gets three heads per figure that won't be added when the figures go on sale to the public.
