First and foremost, excuse the terrible picture quality. The pic was snapped on my phone, and then edited through GIMP via the touchpad on my laptop, because my mouse died. It's the poster child for pictures that should not be, but I'm making this thing happen anyway.

So then, you get one, count 'em, one Daemonhammer with your GK Terminators. That should be enough for anyone, right? What if it's not? Furthermore, they offer you all these weapon choices that AREN'T psycannons, as if you're suddenly going to decide that using psilencers sounds like a novel and genius idea.... Hah!

Enter my solution:

Step 1, cut the ends off of two psilencers. You want everything on up to the iron sight on them, so the entirety of the "tri-barrel" assembly, and the round disc that seperates it from the actual body of the gun.

Step 2, glue the other piece that is the end of the actual psilencer barrels to that piece.

Step 3, repeat step one, and glue it to the opposite side of the open barrels you glued on in Step 2.

Step 4, cut off the tip of a haliberd/warding stave and glue this on. You may wish to try to pin/greenstuff as appropriate.

The picture as assembled is below. The red boxes seperate each individual piece.

Let me know what you think. This is how I'm representing my mastercrafted thunderhammers. The barrels kind of make me think of steampunkish pistons, which is kind of a nice touch.

Hmm. 272 views and not a single comment. I can't decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

At any rate. Here's a picture of it painted, taken by a halfway decent cheapo camera. (at least it's not my phone)

In Firenze kicking Templar arse.

Not bad, not bad.

While I am not huge on the style, I do think the painting methods you used really do give it a steampunk look. Great job with the era style work. Is your entire army painted with the bronze and blue highlights?

Thanks for the kind words. The rest of the army has elements of the blue and bronze on them, but I've not gone out of my way to make them specifically steampunk-ish. I'm still in the process of painting them up, and even the ones I have finished still lack the 'polish' of a completed model. Still waiting on my bases to come in before I can finish them up.
