I decided to make a light box for my pictures, and was wondering how the outcome was. Please feel free to leave C&C on my models as well!
I would greatly appriciate your feedback!

The images of the ripper swarms looks good. The white balance on the Warrior and the Ork seems to be off and you're either blocking some of the light, or there just simply isn't enough of it. Some post-processing tweaks would really help these images truly pop. Major Tom has a good tutorial on doing this with photoshop up in the articles section. You'll want to try and do as much as possible to eliminate the shadows if you can. How many lamps are you using and what type of bulb? Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh and the painting on the Hive Guard and the rippers is nice a clean, good lines. It's well done.

Thanks for the comments, I did the hive gaurd a while ago, but the rippers was painted to day. I am using 1 lamp, and uses a 100 watt bulb.
I will also look at his tutorial.
Anyone else?

Looks a bit dark, needs a bit more light. The first picture is really nice, well done . If you have photoshop you can then manipulate these images further.

You are still making 1 crucial mistake for your lightbox and that is to use a none-curved background. An angled white surface as background is going to do a number on your camera (mainly for it's white-balance). Go for a curved background and watch your White Balance woes go away. Or, alternatively, use a black backdrop (like a T-shirt or something) with 2 lights on both sides. It's the setup I commenly use for my shots.
Also, your depth of field is very low. If your camera has this setting, try taking a picture in apreture priority mode and then selecting an f-stop value of around 8. This should create a nice sharp imagine for your entire model, rather then just the middle. Many people will tell you to just put it in macro mode and call it a day, but that's actually not an optimal mode if you want a nice deep focus area.

What Elmir said. You are having lots of coloring issues and a black backdrop like a tshirt would do wonders. Follow his advice on aperture priority, it will make a big difference. Macro mode is nice for cool depth of field effects, but unless you are doing a war scene where that is called for it is going to look bad.
As for the models, they look good. Ripper swarms could use a wash around the face and their teeth and eyes need some painting.

I'd recommend at least another light, ideally 2. Look up three point lighting for some general ideas of light placement and intensity. One light typically illuminates the subject and the second will help fill in shadows from the first. You can use a third light source from behind the model to help define edges. Edit: Just a little quick googling, here's a video of a company showing off their sweep. That kind of curved surface will help you out... though obviously not that big and your lights won't need to be that bright. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIoBK2I181g

Ok, I will try to look at my camera and what kind of settings it has. Right now im using a setting for objects closer the 28" As for the rippers, I painted the eys and teeth, but I did not have the eye color that i wnated, So I shall darken it.
Thanks for the helpand comments!
