Take some better pictures, seriously.
It might be worth it since the models look quite decent.

it is the top part of a destroyer body then i cut the wings from the command barge and used the base plate from the command barge then just lots of green stuff for the crew cab to seal it its really simple to do all you need is the barge kit and a destroyer but like most i had a load of destroyers laying around that wont be used at the min.

like I said I just thought that Necron armies all usually look boring so thought I'd give them running/bracing for impact stances to be different than the standard pose, I was tempted to put fur on them and try making them Wolfie but decided against it.

Not a fan of the four legged/hunched over necrons, but it does make your army stand out
The night scythe is really well done, although i feel it may be a bit small, but we have nothing to reference its size against really so who knows
Overall i'd say good work and keep on trucking

Like the paint job. Poses are unique, though some may call cheese when determining cover/line of sight. I hope you posed the models for aesthetic reasons and not to powergame.

Nightscythe is good. Paintjob is alright. Id never play against it though since they are so low to the ground, to many LOS issues. Atleast with the overlords and lychguard they are pretty large models.

I'll be takin them to tourneys and I did Model them purely to be unique why on earth would I want to restrict my lines of sight with immortals and warriors lol
Also there is nothing to say you couldn't model every model laying on it's belly as long as its on the right base.

Im sorry but i think the posing attempt for your crons is horrible, looks like they belong in a prison shower scene, also why the feth would you give them fur? For flayed ones i could see that making sense for blending in with certain pray but warriors /anything else would look horrible like that.
I will also agree with some other posters that a whole lot of bs can come from how you have posed them as it seems like you tried to get an advantage with them that way
the following is for example reasons only as i dont know you so im bringing up a possible scenario.
johny no name "ok im shooting at your lych guard with my (insert name of unit here).... wtf i cant draw los since they are crouching behind cover" by next turn you would probably try to shoot out of cover causing such a storm that it would not be funny (other choice of words came to mind but knowing my luck they would not get caught by the swear filter)
Positive time. That Night Scythe looks good

@ tazz
Alas I have never spent any time in a prison/prison shower room so I'll leave you with your fantasy and soap.lol
I'm not a nasty guy I don't play like a pinicity old sod I play for fun and I usually score highly for sportsmanship. If I wanted to play like that then I could just put them all on their bellys and see them never get shot at but that's not the idea of the game.
The reason why I was thinking about putting fur on them was because both me and the mrs really like playing and the fluff of the space wolves so was thinking of doing it like an undead space wolve army
Thank you for your comments though

bloody hell i set myself up for that
Never thought of the undead space wolves which given thought would look pretty sweet if executed well.
Also good to hear you dont play as a old sod and il google up pinicity later (but thats why i put "the following is for example reasons only as i dont know you so im bringing up a possible scenario. "
Keep up the creativity dude, i've seen lots of stuff that aint my cup of tea but its always good to see even that my negativity can garner at least something positive (even if its just a shred) for feedback at times

I like the paintjobs and the Night scyth. But I'm not a huge fan of the Overlords/Lords that are bent over.....It just looks goofy to me, but I think the Cypteks pose is pretty menacing.
The Warriors are pretty cool as well.
EDIT: Oh, and the Lychguards pose makes him look like he's about to smash into his face into the ground because he comically tripped on a banana peel...

Yeah you did lol I haven't scene it but it doesn't sound like my cup of tea
The idea was to have them pose like wolves with space wolve heads, legs, arms and body's obviously only one arm and a leg of a space wolf for example, but decided against it for my first whole Army conversion.
Do you think the doom/night scŷthe should be on a large flying base?

I actualy have not seen the large flying bases yet (yes thats pretty sad) So far the base that its on looks good but you never know, the larger base sounds like it could be a better idea if the scythe is prone to "drunken sailor syndrome"(falling over) as i call it
and this is going completely off topic but i just finished my online WHIMIS training and i got to thinking "i wonder how hazardous all these materials that GW pumps out are"

10 points for creativity, I will say I have not seen a single necron 4-legged beast like army. While it looks really unique, I could see some pinicity old sod at a tourney having a problem with it.
The Paint is also really good, I like the blue effects on them, I dont know why but I keep thinking of vikings clad in iron any time i glance at the pics. Dynamic work on the painting sir, and again i do respect the creativity there man. keep it up!

Cheers arktor I'm fully prepared for power gamers at tournaments I'll just throw the hard back rule book at them and ask them to find where it says they have to be standing up. Then tell them to man up and stop acting like a child it's a game people play for FUN lol

If you use this army in tournaments a lot of people will accuse you of modelling advantage bunch the bent over shower scene necrons and a low flying base doom scythe that is supposed to be a flyer and have a flying base. Doom Scythe is a flyer type and must be on a flyer base or it could be a DQ before your first game even starts. The rule for LOS is you have to see the body of the model so besides fun games, you might be labeled as a WAAC player.

Night/doom scythes are not flyers they are type= fast, skimmers
People can accuse all they like I'm not doing anything wrong and as previously stated I don't play like a pinicity old sod and always score highly for sportsmanship.
Remember that body includes heads, arms and legs and middling the crons how I have makes them easier to see and since I have to draw Los from their eyes it makes it harder for me to shoot.
Thanks for your comments though.

Wow quite a lot of negativity here. Personally I think its an interesting and imaginative take on the necron. To take the modelling a step farther what about adding extra legs/arms wing cases to give them a more insect/beetle like vibe.
