So ive been back doing games workshop stuff for a few months now and things are starting to come together. Not managed to play any games yet as ive never been one to game with grey but hopefully soon.
Till then i thought id post up some of the progress ive had with getting this merry warband together.
So back ground well its one of those things really. Having a few drinks with a guy i used to game with he said wouldnt it be cool to paint up a squad to see if we still could. At that i thought yeah i want to paint a harlequin squad in the suit of cards scheme. A few pints later this ideaa had taken roost and in the morning i started the search for the figures i wanted. Over a decade since i had last purchased games workshop i was parting with hard cash again.
Now as most of you will know you cant just stop at a few models. I got some harlequins and then some reapers and avengers and a wraithlord............and so on till i was writing a army list buying a codex and so on. Great now with the full gw bug again , a look of bemusment on my missus face and kncak for super gluing every thing apart from the figure to the base here we are.
All feed back welcomed guys.

Thanks guys.
Trying to get some gaurdians done up at the moment.
Progress is slow though so ive broken it up with some fire dragons as well as the rest of the exodite squad.

Guarding Guardian

So this week ive been working on some Guardians and after taking the pictures noticed i never added there back pack stands although there all ready as well.
Inbetween painting these guys i also tried out a colour scheme for my fire dragon squad and also for the swooping hawks although i think i may paint these blue ~ turqouiseish.
Also in there are some rangers. The standing guy seems to crop up a lot as i have another 3 of them to paint and add to them at least once the rest of the rangers are painted (another 10) it will balance these lads out.
And a death jester in there as well for the harlequin squad as well so a productive week so far i guess.
As always comments and criticisms all welcome especially one the hawk and dragon.

Picked up an avatar today so may do him similar to the dragons or have him in a wraithbone scheme with lava showing through.
Any thoughts?

So been working on some Eldar Storm guardians. Decided to go for the old lead figures and to tool them all up. Also flipped the colours from the normal guardians for this squad.
Also got some Jet bikes painted up the avenger wearing helm guy is just there to show that some ones in control until a warlock joins them.
And lastly finished a deciever that is going to be my harlequin avatar if i ever get round to painting the other 30 harlequins i have sitting unopened.
Comments welcome as always
