Alright so, first time running this army list, going to try it out against my friends smurf marines tomorrow. Just wanted any input from experienced daemon/nurgle players.

So, my thoughts are that i'll drop Epidemius down at the rear of the battlefield, in cover if at all possible. The 2 units of 14 PBs will hold their ground/grab any objectives, whilst the DPs will drop aggressively and hopefully barf on some marines (BoC). Once i get the tally up, i'll begin heavily pushing with more PBs, and use the nurglings as more then just a distraction (I hear once the tally gets up, nurglings become a power house CC unit). The Beast is there purely as a distraction, or maybe ill keep him behind near Epidemius in case any deep-strikers pop in to threaten him. Once Ku'gath gets on table i'm going to use his pie-plate to wipe out large swathes of marines, and maybe add to the number of nurglings on the table.

With regards to anti-tank (something i know i sorely lack), i'm hoping to be able to deploy my princes and K'gath within striking distance. Not super worried about it though, since my friend only has a drop pod and 2 dreads (one venerable).

I would drop 2 icons and Breath on both princes (that frees up 110 points). Might is also wasted when you have Noxious Touch (130 points) and I would ditch breath on the herald as well, breath really needs a faster platform (160 points). If you then lose another 7 PB from one unit that frees up 280 points so you can put wings on your other DP (these guys are going to be the killers) and then add another prince with the same configuration.

Finally, for waves I would put all the MC's and epidemus in Wave 1, you want them coming in. You can just g2g in the back with the other PB/Nurgling units.

I wouldn't take beasts of Nurgle
You should get a 3rd nurgle prince -215 pts.Breath is nice....but most invest thei points in something else.You need 3 princes....so you can take down vehicles

Just in case anyone was interested. I had the battle with my friend today (with the first list, didnt have time or models yet to make the revised one). Epidemius and his 7 strong bodyguard sat unmolested on obj. no. one, while another group of plaguebearers, while taking 3 casualties over 5 turns to torrent of fire, held the second objective. Princes and Ku'gath made the rest of the army cry for first 2 turns. By the time he killed the 2 princes, and got ku mired down in combat with a dread, tally was fully up.....and his 10man terminator squad got DESTROYED by a group of 7 humble nurgling bases. Nurglings wounding on a 2+ and ignoring armour FTW.
