I'm interested in a couple magic weapons for some of my Black Orc characters. I acknowledge that using a magic weapon makes it so the Black Orc can't use their ability to choose what they want to be equipped with at the begining of combat.

So my question is, the magic weapons that I take.....can I declare in my list what I want that weapon to be? Whether it's a 1 hand wielding weapon or a great weapon? The Magic weapon section doesn't say ( not that I saw). If I give my character the Ogre blade.....is it considered a 1 hand weapon or great weapon or I get to choose?

Also, and I'd have to double check on this, am I allowed to give my character multiple magic weapons ( acknowledging they coudl only use one of them at any one time in combat) and choose at the begining of each combat which I want to use?

"Unless otherwise stated, a magic weapon is treated as a hand weapon, and follows the rules for such," big rulebook on page 501.

Regarding multiple magic weapons, you cannot."A model may only ever choose one item from each category," big rulebook, page 500.

There are some special characters who have multiple magic weapons, that may have been where you got it from.

In those cases, it usually has a rule with them that says it's okay for them to have two.
