Hi All
Having started with warhammer fantasy and with vampire counts (I was going to collect them before the new releases!), I scoured ebay for really cool looking minis for my army! So here is a finished (as in just!) vampire count! The sword just in case you were wondering is supposed to look shiny as I was going for a magical/poisoned look. Also the cloak is supposed to look fairly dirty, I wanted old and worn!

That sword is beautiful...
Only problem I see is the base really. It looks much better if you paint the base a colour which matches with the basing material your putting on it, but not the same colour as the model. For example with that basing your using a gray base would be good for it. A light gray. Astronomican gray?

Thanks for the reply! The only thing about painting bases is that I am old school 1st/2nd ed 40k and have always preferred the black! But thanks anyway for the idea!
