Subject: About Daemon weapons

Servoarm Flailing Magos

Having read the CSM codex entry and the lexicanum entry I wondered if all daemon weapons were gifts.
Would it be possible for an existing weapon to be possessed?
Or is a daemon bound within the weapon during it's forging?
Although I haven't actually found much on the creation of Daemon weapons so this is why I ask.

Well they're possessed weapons, so I don't think it matters when the daemon got there, just that it did. Though I don't think the daemon likes it there because they often attack their users.

So your of the opinion that a Deamon isn't forged into the blade it's just put in their sometime over the weapons lifespan?

I think it can be both. Either forged in it or put there later. Because it's like a defiler, they summon the daemon, and put it in a box. So they can do it whenever they want in my opinion.
