So I'm in England for the next week, and before I leave I am considering blowing some of my savings on warhammer, because it is incredibly cheap here compared to sunny Australia. I've got an airborne IG army (just plowing through painting it at the moment, not adding any more I don't think), and thought of starting an Alpha Legion army. I saw someone a while ago do an Alpha Legion counts-as GK, and it really piqued my interest. It had coteaz to unlock henchmen (who were 'operatives) and the GKs themselves were the legionaires themselves. I have my IG men to stand in for some of the henchmen (SW armed ones, that kinda thing, a few chimera's kicking around). I was thinking of buying some GK to compliment those I already have (I have a good few of those metal halberd armed grey knights in power armour, from way back when) and this would also allow me to have my 'fun and themed' Alpha List, as well as my 'serious' list (I was thinking along the lines of crowe, purifiers, all that jazz).

So as long as that wasn't way too random and all over the shop, I'm basically asking what GK models should I buy. I am aiming to spend around 100 pound, thinking of this;

Crowe; 10.50
2xPAGK; 41.00
2xRB; 41.00

Should I replace one of the RBs with a Dread? I'm also thinking of just spending a bit more and getting a dread, but that'd be the absolute limit of my cash that I want to spend.

What do you think?

What you have looks good, I wouldn't swap any of it. I assume you're going TLAC for the dread? If so, do you have your conversion/arms worked out? If not, I'd just stick with what you have.

yeh, tlac is the plan. i've got ACs in bulk left over from guard HW teams, and arms ill nut out, im creative and moderately skilled in my modelling, if not my painting
