So far this list has done me proud, the tournament has strict rules about army lists which has limited my options a lot, but im very happy with this list.
Basically the Dread, lootas, looted wagon and 12 man trukk run defence, the rest gets stuck in. Im still no 100% with the dread but he is useful when defending objectives, could loose him and have more lootas?

You have too many heavy support choices, but since you have a big mek you can field the deff dread as a troop choice.
Deff Dreads must take 2 weapons from the list so yours is currently illegal.
I'd drop the deff dread and the looted wagon because they're not the best choices for a competive enviroment and replace them with more boyz and another battlewagon.
I prefer deffkoptas to buggies, but thats a matter of opinion. I wouldn't mix the two equipment on the buggies though, all rokkits or all shootas.
Not enough lootas either, i think 2 units of 6 works, but most people run them in groups of 10.

Sharing the "strict rules" of the tournament would help too, so we could alter our comments accordingly.

I want all 6 rockets and then maybe 3 squads of 2 with the buggies.

No he has 3 heavies, the dread counts as troops because of mek.

Honestly i would drop looted wagon for more lootas. Looted wagons just never make their points back up

The tournament rules
 Avoid duplicating an HQ unit.
 Avoid having 2 Special/Named Characters that occupy an HQ slot
 Avoid having 3 of the same ELITE units
 Avoid having 4 or more of the same TROOP units
 Avoid having 4 or more of the same DEDICATED TRANSPORT, and 3 or more if
the transports have a front armour value of 14
 Avoid having 3 of the same FAST ATTACK units
 Avoid having 3 of the same HEAVY SUPPORT units
 Avoid having a total of 4 or more of the same VEHICLE TYPE with a front armour
value of 12 and above, assigned into SQUADRONS.
Unit types are considered the same even if they have been given different
weapon/wargear upgrades and occupy separate entries in the codex or Force
Organization slot, such as Dreadnoughts and Leman Russ variations for example.


The deff dread has one extra CC weapon, the list is legal . I would like another battle wagon but im not allowed even if i take one as DT. I like the idea of loosing the looted wagon for more lootas, im just concerned about horde army's. I used to use Deff koptas but i found that the armour 10 of the buggies drew the heavier fire away from the trucks and BW's, where the deff koptas cost more and get gunned down by most things. thanks for your advice guys

I agree with the statement of the buggies, give the whole unit the same weap, as the unt can only fire on 1 target your either wasteing the big shoota slot or the 2 rokkit slots

Ill see if i can squeeze 10 points from somewhere for the 2 extra rokkits on the buggies

Deffo rokkit all the buggies, and more lootas is good too as has been said. I'd rather take Kans than the dread, and grotzookas can thin hordes too. Or take a green baron
