Ok, a couple weeks back I posted about a project to take the pueter bits from the old razorback and to use them on the current rhino kit. Well, I've made some progress. I picked up tracks for a 1/35 scale sherman kit. The kit is the tracks only. So I don't have a model kit gathering dust. I figured that since I'm doing this project that I might as well go a step further with it. The tracks are the same size as the rhinos and the tread is close enough to it so its not all that different. The sherman tracks have more give and wrap around the road wheels of the rhino. I picked up the current razorback kit to start this project. I marked how much I would have to cut to fit the pueter pieces. After that I did a little piece work and here's my progress so far. I've set a completeion date for this project. My birthday is the deadline. I hope that I can have it done. Being as I'm posting this while in in the feild and I still have some work to do before this project is done. I hope I can get it done.

Nice to see the old turret, interested to see how you're going to get those tracks to work.

Tracks look a little slack
- other than that looking ok so far.

I'm not completely finished with the tracks. But I plan to feed them over the road wheels and have them link together around the back. Once I have both sets of tracks done it will look better when put together. I've still got a few pieces to add onto the tracks. Once I get those set in it'll look better. I'll post up picks of the finished model when I'm done and as I make more progress. I look forward to seeing this project through.

Ok, I've finally after a couple of weeks of distractions and being out right busy as all hell. I've finally managed to complete one full strip of track for this project. Its been a tedious pain in the ass but, now I have at least a count of how many tracks is required to do this sort of project. So, I'm happy that I've attempted this one. I still have another few projects to get done but, I'm should be done this one by the end of the month like I set up in my time table. I just need to redo my army list and get these finished and my army should be bout done. Except for a few odds and ends for the inquisitors in my army. On a side note I'm doing another squad of Death Watch space marines.

Its done finally all major components of the project are finished. Both tracks are now fitted to the tank. The turret is set in place and its all done. Put together and now just needs to be painted and that's it for my army. The razorback project was a success I'm thankful that it is. My modling vow for the month is complete.[img]
