So I figured I'd do a version of my army with a mounted prince since I haven't used a mounted character since 6th edition. I could just as well leave the Radiant Gem at home and not use spirit leech but I haven't tried it out yet so I'll see how it performs. Clearly the prince runs with the DP's. Everything else is pretty straightforward. Archmage is nigh unkillable(only spells can hit him). I figure(on a relatively clear field) run the PG down the middle, DP's on a flank and the 2 spearmen units on each side of the PG. Archers on the opposite side as the DP's, Eagles get behind the enemy line asap to harass back field. Another idea would be to split the DP unit into 2 5 man units with just musicians and deploy one on each flank, then deploying the prince last in whichever unit needs him most.

I'd take the 2 5 man units of Dragon Princes over what you currently have. IIRC DP have multiple attacks and that can best be taken advantage of in smaller units.

Spirit leech is good, but what I've found better is giving him high magic.
A 2nd shield of 5+ ward is nice, but the 2nd drain magic can be a life saver.
It's easy to cast, and can cause a headache for magic heavy armies.
I'm most likely going to have to defend against dwellers, and won't have the dice left to stop the pair of drain magics.

Best way to stop the 25+ spells is make them 31+.
