Hi guys finally i made an account here after lurking the forums for half a year, i'm a not-so-expert ork player, here's the list i've came up with:


Big Mek KFF + Burna [110 PT]

29 Slugga Boyz + Nob PK + Bosspole [250 PT]

3 Killa kans w Grotzookas [135 PT]

5 Lootas [75 PT]

1 Deffkopta TL-rokkit + Buzzsaw [70 PT]

This is mainly for friendly games, basically its a semi-kan wall with the deffkoptas rushing a suicidal attack to armored stuff in the back, and zogwrot with the boyz running to the front lines hoping for a "Ere we Go" to flank them from behind / sideways or whatever, all backed up by small squads of lootas to cover up most of the field...

What do you guys think?

Not bad at all, You've got yourself a nice kan wall list there!

Two things though:
I guess you'll be playing 1500 pts games with this list? you've still got 40pts to spend! how about 3 big shootas on the shoota boys and more lootas?
Also, while three lone koptas are good, you dont need a buzzsaw on all of them. One is enough. Rather spend the 50 pts on more lootas (they're awesome!)

and maybe sort the units by HQ, Elites, Troops, Fast attac and Heavy support...... makes it easier tpo read....

oh and one last thing:
two mobs of 30 boys is not as good as 3 mobs of 20. You'll be able to claim more objectives, and toss in another pk nob!

I would use the extra points to get one of the grotzooka units rokkits. Better still do both with rokkits. Yes I know grotzookas are great but your boys need to have the enemies transports popped before they can mash what is on the inside.

For sure take 3 units of 20 MrMerlin's advice is good stuff. You have a lot of extra points you can chop off.

Lose a buzzsaw 25pts
Loose the burna on Mek 25
With this you can adjust your boys to 3x20 giving an extra PK nob. And still have enough points to make a rokkit kan unit I think. If not, drop one buzz copta entirely and grab more lootas too.

or i can field lootas in 3 squads of 7 to mitigate their poor LD issues without losing firepower (and potentially covering more of the board / targets) the points go up to 1513 but we usually balance them out before the game.

This is much better! I'd say leave it like that and go crush your enemies!

Hmm you made some right points , the burna on the mek is not mandatory, i'll see if i can make other tweaks on the list using your and MrMerlin's tips!

you could spend those points on three rokkitz for 3 of the kans, since yoiur only AT right now comes from the kopta and the kans, both CC......

Looks perfect. Maybe only two big loota squads instead of three small ones (less kps for the enemy) but not madatory.
