Gaaah. I really want BF3, but I've heard plenty of bad things about Origin.

Any advice/info from anyone who uses it?

Origin sucks. Want Steam but more bug ridden and glitchy? Origin is what you're looking for

However! BF3 for $30 is a pretty good deal. Origin sucks but BF3 doesn't.

So I was getting mauled in the PC/demo of BF3, is it any better? was considering getting it for Xbox as people on xbox tend to suck more

I'm a Console Gamer, so I really don't know jack about this issue. But I do know that EA sucks.

Yeah PC gamers really hate Origin. You can already break PC gamers down into "I hate steam" and "I love steam." The folk who hate steam are going to hate Origin just as much, and the people who love Steam are already really invested into the platform. So, EA pulls their big titles from the Steam store to try and force PC gamers to use Origin (thus pissing more of them off) and at this point Origin is surviving off the momentum of EA's titles which is a dubious way to survive long term. Add in the privacy controversy and the fact that EA is the spawn of Satan and you don't really have a formula to succeed.

It's a console-based game so I recommend console yeah.

If you want a PC shooter you look for games like tribes ascend.

The PC version is a console port (contrary to statements to the contrary). But of course its EA, so anyone who knows anything should instantly assume they're lying
