The Hellforge Crusade is my attempt to make a cool CSM Iron Warriors army. I've tried so before, but this is the first time I have a feeling I'll actually succeed The army is lead by Warsmith Haldor Ferron:


There's a chance people have seen this army before, as I posted it around, but, to get everyone up to speed, a shed load of photo's:








As is hopefully visible, I'm trying to give this army a bit of a Diesel/Steampunk look. So far, the Predator looks best in this regard, as far as I'm concerned.

I really like how my Warsmith turned out. The conversion was quite complex and I'm happy to report I'm teaming up with a friend of mine to give him an equally awesome paint-job:






Again, the painting isn't my doing! It isn't done just yet, but, I'm already really pleased with it

What's the main body of that dread? Looks pretty cool.

It's from a game called Dystopian Wars, a Prussian Empire Metzger Class Robot.

The game is more akin to the Epic scale than the 40K scale, so personally, I find that this is the only mini that works in 40K.

hahah he looks a little 'nice' though compared to others, maybe he needs some spikes or impaled heads on him.

He'll get such things, no worries He's not done just yet, but extra spikes and such are certainly in his future

Thank you I'm going to have a lot of fun with the dread Perhaps I'll give him arms by Puppet Wars. We'll see. As far as the helmets go, they're Steam Knight Helmets by Max Mini. Yes, I'm into non-GW parts

It's been a while since I added to this army, but, today I took some time to finish my "Metzger" Class Dreadnought for the Hellforge Crusade. It's got parts from three different lines (Dystopia Wars, Puppets War and Games Workshop), but they match quite well and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out

I would love my Iron Hands to fight your Iron Warriors. Nice Contemptor.
