Here are some snaps of a Predator which was 98% complete.
Until now!

Predator callsign SNAKEBITE was deployed, along with 3rd Company of the Dark Angels, to the planet Magalo. It's operational tour stretched for fifteen and a half months: from planetfall at Junis, to total victory at Thermoq. 3rd Company, along with units such as the 38th Elysian Regiment and 67th Cadian Brigade, were involved in a liberation mission to reclaim the planet. Chaos forces had overrun the majority of Magalo, and were consolidating their gains when the Imperial relief force made planetfall.

While Imperial forces were greatly thankful for the Astartes presence, they were unaware that the Unforgiven had another, more important task that needed undertaking.

SNAKEBITE suffered many close shaves, particularly from high-velocity armour-penetrating rounds, fired from Chaos autocannons. However, not a single round was able to penetrate SNAKEBITE's armour, and she continued to purge the enemies of the Imperium. Crewed by battle brothers Demitrik and Kia, SNAKEBITE was a thorn in the side of the Chaos force, particularly in her hit-and-run attacks on the enemy's elite Chaos Marines.

Rhino III, callsign CHARIOT, was also deployed to Magalo. As the dedicated transport to 3rd squad, 3rd Dark Angels Company, CHARIOT was involved in many major battles throughout the campaign (And there are many scars to prove this).
As the campaign dragged on, CHARIOT - and her driver, brother Masiah - found herself in many new roles and situations: Ferrying civilians out of Ralouis, Evacuating wounded tank crews from the 228th Vostroyan, and inserting specialist Kill-Teams from the Unforgiven's own ranks. CHARIOT was an invaluable asset to the Imperial forces, as reinforcements were constantly arriving to liberate Magalo.

CHARIOT is largely still in multiple pieces, as you can see from the piccies. I painted the interior first, then the outside. I used far more black oil paint on CHARIOT than SNAKEBITE, and the weathering powder was largely blown away *again*.

Thanks mate I airbrushed the Predator Vallejo Luftwaffe Green, using weathering powders afterwards.

Btw weathering powder does a great job though i'm not a big fan on my jobs..

Nope, I'm pretty sure it came on the DA vehicle sprue, which comes with the Ravenwing Battleforce.
Weathering powders are a pain, they look great until you have to varnish the model, and 90% of visible powder disappears

Do you varnish with the matt varnish or you use GWs satin?

I use GW's Purity Seal Satin Varnish. (Not sure if they still sell it)

Man this varnish is very glossy on the look and it ruins every effect of weathering, or dirty look.
I use army painters matt varnish spray whick is by far greater than GWs and gives the models
a very appropriate look. You should try it out. Check my thread below and look at my finished models.
They are all sprayed with the matt varnish.

By now, I should have, but all my progress over the past I-Don't-Know how many years, has basically been test models. I do have this scout I did before Christmas, who could do with some more weathering powder (Yes, and a base... )


I also have a Rhino painted in similar fashion, which I might be able to upload by the end of the day. All I need to do is paint the panel at the back of the cab. So watch this space!
