I like it. I'm not a fan of the baby carrier version GW has. I dig the shoulder pads !

That is the best conversion of that model I have seen. Awesome work, looking forward to seeing it completed.

Love it! So many people say they hate this kit, but I have seen some of the best conversions ever IMO done with it. This ranks up there with them. Very professional job with the greenstuff. Only C&C i can think of is that the posing of the feet looks kind of odd.

This.

I've always thought it would look so much better if one were to make it like a warjack.

I'm almost done with it. The base is ready, I was magnetising the weapons today. Here's the story on the feet. They were positioned fine before the leg joints started to break and I had to pin them and glue them back on and that left leg ended up skewed wierd. I'm compensating for it by making that foot stand on a raised piece of base to level it out. Also I'm not doing the whole 3 toe thing on the feet.i think it's a really stupid look for this model. Reminds me of a sea monkey.

To answer greyknight369' it's a conversion of the original model. The addons are sculpted by me except for a few press molded details.

Pic will be posted tonight of it based. Nothing fancy just some simple cork. Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Anyways a very novel idea right there

Finito on the conversion. Gonna prime him tonight. You can see the magnet in the hand lets me change the sword position. The base is a little plain, need to dig through some bits to see what will spice it up a little.

Is its left leg coming out of the ankle socket? I'm glad that you removed the arm pistons, but you forgot to remove the "gigantic stikkboms" from the back of its legs (to me they look out of place and are aesthetically inappropriate). The head and tabbard look great, I really like the shoulder pads.

The left leg is in the socket at an angle. I agree about the arm pistons but left the leg pistons on because they give it a little manga look in my opinion. And they aren't so obviously obtrusive as the pistons. I appreciate all the great comments. So far I've painted the silver and weathered it , although I edge highlighted with Liquid Silver and I'm not sure how much I like it like that.

Ill agree as well. GW dropped the ball so badly by using the baby carrier design.

Here's an update on the painting progress. I may have gone alittle too heavy on the blue tint so i plan to pull the silver back up to the front with some precision airbrush highlighting. The heraldry shields aren't done yet or the skulls or sword blade. I'm not sure I'm sold on the wash I used for the gold. It seems a bit too much on the red side. The tabard needs one more highlight as well so the red pops, maybe some freehand design too. what do you guys think?

Looks great! Although some heraldry on the shields would be nice.

I think I struck a nerve with this conversion. Now I'm really tempted to buy another one (this one was a gift) and mock up a full kit.I'd guess i would have to change it some to avoid any GW legal heat right? Finished painting the sword and the heraldry shields but they still need an icon. I have the witchhunter decal sheet thinking i might use the skull from there or maybe freehand a sword or two. Other than that just have to finish the base. I think the sword turned out good and i touched up the armor with chainmail, it felt like it was too much on the blue side as far as tint. Also finished the guns but I forgot to paint the spare hand! Doooh! I dont know about you guys but does anyone else think the Thunderhammer that came with this kit just looks wrong and kind of dinky compared to the sword?
