I've started a long term project, and that is making a Space Marine army of some sort using Scibor Miniatures. This leaves me with two questions; what codex is most appropriate for their models and how do I effectively convert Rhinos to be more Scibor-esque? I'm not a great painter by far, which is why my painting gallery will likely stay empty for a long while, but I do like the aesthetics of Scibor's marines and Maelstrom happened to sell them at 30% discount.

So. Anyone got a good advice on either of the two questions?

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.

Scibor has models that look like Black Templars, Space Wolves, Custodes (not really marines but you get the point) and Dark Angels... So it would really depend on which ones you pick imho

Let's just say I'm not picky about the original codex aesthetics as I'll eventually make use of all of Scibor's marines to separate Terminators from Devastators from Tac Marines. Generally speaking, Scibor are expensive so I would want a codex which do not rely on troops outside of power armour and which is fairly point intensive (I've glanced at Grey Knights a bit, but am not fond of Inq Henchmen).
I've yet to receive my miniatures so I don't know if there is sufficient distinction between Spartan Marines and Celtic Marines to make one or the other clearly Terminators, for example.

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.

Keep in mind that these miniatures are very huge, truescale so to speak:
