Hey everybody

I just uploaded a painting tutorial, and I was hoping you guys might be willing to give it a glance. I painted a Space Marine Terminator in the Salamander scheme. My goal was to produce a decent looking model in an hour and a half. The video itself is only about 10 mins. Hopefully you guys like it!

I'm still relatively new to these video tutorials, so any tips, suggestions, comments or critiques (both on the model and the video itself) would mean a lot to me!

Thanks
Andrew

I think your video is awesome. Very professionally done. Step by step with the paint + the image of the pot before each use = AWESOME. Plus the jokes about the shoulder pads are a very nice touch.

There are some parts where the model is a bit too far or off the screen. But that's not a big problem .

Thanks, man! It's tough to keep it dead center, but I'm going to keep trying to get better at that.

BTW - I just realized there is a sub forum dedicated to tutorials. Is it possible for a mod to move this thread there? I didn't mean to put it in the wrong place.

Thanks!

Very well done video man, Really enjoyed watching it.

Are you planning to do anymore? If so I'd like to put a request in to see how you paint space wolves

That was brilliant! Nearly inspired to have a go at using an airbrush myself with that sort of guide behind me, can't go any worse than my brush painting

Thanks! And space wolves will be on the way

I'd love to do lots of these 40K tutorials, but here's where I need your help! I don't know ANYTHING about 40K (WM/H guy, myself), so if there are any specific chapters/armies/factions/color schemes that you guys want to see, please let me know! Some people were kind enough to donate 7 Terminators to me (after I'd been focusing entirely on WM videos), so I'm looking for help on deciding future tutorials.

As for SW -- do they require specific models, or can I use the terminator like I used in this vid? Also, any reference photos would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again guys -- this forum is awesome. I may finally get courageous enough to venture outside of the PP forums from time to time
