since there is a new big Campaign and a new Codex rolling in, this Summer, I thought it would be nice to have cityfight table, and for some Reasons I don't get, I was obsessed with the Harbor Idea

and here a few Terrain Pices on the Table

Very nice! The ripples look great, very realistic.

I've never played using the cityfight rules so forgive me, but how do you normally deal with movement over/through the water?

Very nice! You need a sewage template.

Dress that up with lots of ruins and take more pics.

I think bridges and stuff over the water to increase the useful area on the table would be cool too. Maybe some sort of floating pontoon bridge or something. But, your water effects look awesome.

2. A tool, usually a long strip of wood or other material, for producing a smooth, flat surface on, for example, a concrete floor or a plaster wall.

Verb
to screed

1. to produce a smooth flat layer of concrete or similar material.
2. to use a screed (tool).

Hope this helps...

Do not use the CLEAR dice!

Dear Whiny Space Marine Players,
you get 3+ armor saves on all your troops (save scouts), Assault cannons, a huge assortment of vehicles and weapons, arguably one of the best if not THE best tank in the game, funny helmets, and a partrige in a pear tree.

suck it up, space marines. You're the emperor's chosen superhuman warriors. stop whining like a guardsmen and take it like a superman!

Just curious

FanTASTIC! Great concept, great build work, great visual appeal. I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Don't put bridges in a harbour. That won't look right.
If you want more areas to fight on and over, model some boats.

Dock 1 or 2 small ones in the left bays (waste barges? loaded one is difficult terrain, and causes wounds, empty one if difficult terrain and gives cover saves), 1 big one in the right bay (under repairs? easy access, counts as a building). Maybe 1 in the center, say that it's shipping out (Only access is to flyers, moves further out turn by turn).

Or make the center boat really big, too big to fully enter the harbour, only model the bow section and have it unloading cargo off both sides, to the ends of the long docks.

Just some thoughts.

I just pictured a squad of jetbikes turboboosting off one dock, crossing the water and ending up on the other docks. A harbour is a cool idea.
