Wtf is Dreadfleet?
Is it in Finecast?

On a srsbznz note, they don't look half bad considering the scale, though the Dwarf one looks very flat and un-detailed.

Dreadfleet was the limited edition all in one boxed game released last year, september time I think. It's no longer on sale.

Nice work on them ships. I still need to finish my dreadfleet project.

Douchebaggery aside, my initial post was a poke at the fact Dreadfleet (at least in my area) has already faded into obscurity.
At my local GW, people bought boxes in 3's and sat there for a few days modelling and painting.
I haven't seen or heard about Dreadfleet since its release...

Dreadfleet flopped, shame because it does look cool.
Painting looks good, a bit to dark for my liking.

Thanks for the replies, the dwarf ship has recess stuff done, but I did not use Badab Black wash as I wanted it to remain bright. Unfortunately the detailing is loads better when you see the model not through a photo as it really is delicate. I was just thinking that maybe the reflection of the white sheet (on my bin) has darkened the photos in general? Anyways I will definately have to make a quick trip to my father-in-law and ask him to take photos (semi-pro photographer) as my painting never truly shows through in my crappy photos!!!!

With regards to the Dreadfleet, the cost of it was insane - £70!!!! I never knew it was limited edition so when I inquired about it at my local GW store recently, they told me to look on eBay and be prepared to spend x3 the price - I found it for £41!!!!!!!

I do like the way it looks and plays!

Shame it's not a "common" game, I sort of wish it became popular. That's not good words from the store manager, trying to force a buy but breaking relations

Ships look good, but I think I'm an even bigger fan of the dark water. You've managed to make it feel stormy and menacing, while still working all the way up to white. Impressive!

Looks good. The waters is silky smooth and dark enough to give the deep ocean effect.
