I've decided to set up a blog chronicling the progress of my WOC. Mainly as an incentive to produce a fully painted army.
The army thus far consists of:
Exalted Hero of Khorne
17 Warriors of Khorne
Sorcerer
18 Undivided Warriors
20 Undivided Mauraders
5 Slaanesh Maurauder Horsemen
5 Undivided Knights
So far the Khorne Warriors have the most work done with a third of the unit almost completed. The last elements to add are snow on the bases and painting the cloaks.
Not made as much progress as I'd have liked. Besides the Warriors I'm getting my Necrons painted up for a summer league and will be starting to build up a Blood Bowl team aswell.
Now have 5 Warriors completed:
I also have test schemes for the Undivided units ready which I'll put up soon.
Progress has been slow due to working on Necrons. The Undivided scheme is pretty much sorted. I've decided to get all the basing done before painting so I only need to do the cloaks once.
A quick comparison between Marked and Undivided units. To keep a uniform look to the army all elements of the models share the same colours with simple variation with the armour and cloaks. Undivided units have black armour with red cloaks while marked units have black cloaks with either red (Khorne), purple (Slaanesh), green (Nurgle) or blue (Tzeentch) armour.
Had some things to sort out for uni the last few weeks. Thats now sorted so I'm back on with the Chaos, with the odd Necron floating about.
The Exalted Champ is now finished. Tried out actually blending the effect on the weapons rather than just layering and think that turned out quite well. I'll fix up the rest of the weapons once the unit is finished.
Beautiful and clean. I dislike khorne but I always make comments when I see decent work! There you go well done sir!
Oh and I really like the highlight on the black cloaks! Keep it up!
