Are Shrike lists still any good? I wanted to do one in 5th but never got around to it. I was thinking something like this:

Cato goes with the Sternguard, and gives Tank hunters to the Heavy Bolter squad. Shrike with the Termies. Ironclad and Sterngaurd drop in first turn, Tac squads drop in as needed. LSS boosts during scout move, can hopefully get into CC first turn, at the very least putting a power fist into a vehicle.

Is Shrike any good? Can't believe you had to ask. This is a pretty solid list though. And Cato seems to be the new meta of SM special characters.
Putting Shrike with the Terminators is smart as it gives you choice of deep strike, infiltrate or outflank.
I personally made a 5 man unit of twin lightning -clawed Vanguard Vets that I could take with Shrike. Not really designed to be competitive (5 guys for 310 points!) but I had made them during 4th where Shrike could take his retinue Shrike's Wing. I like the list a lot though. Scary how similar it is to mine.

Ditch the camo cloaks on Telion's squad. He already gives them stealth. Or does this stack in the new edition?

stacks! stealth is defined as a certain save now, and camo cloaks as +1 to cover save, so !

Characters don't give their units special rules anymore in 6th ed.
Can't remember where but I know I read it in the new rulebook.

And in the Latest 6th edition SM FAQ it lists Telion as having a Camo Cloak. I think they might have taken away his inherent stealth rule.

Thannks for the feedback. Good to know this will still work. I'm still getting used to these rules, especially all the conditions on when you can launch an assault.

The reason I'm paying for cloaks is that even if Telion bites it somehow, I'd like to be able to keep maintain an improved save for the squad. It's 15 points of redundancy I'm willing to pay for.

Incorrect, only certain enumerated rules are passed on. Stealth requires only a single model in the unit to have it, so it is passed on.

The camo cloaks are not redundant. They give you a continuous 2+ cover save, assuming you are behind something that gives a 4+.

Read the new rulebook and FAQs, there are just too may errors in this thread.

I will just give one: You can not assault on turn after scout or infiltrate :(
