Hey guys, got some ideas (rough) I want to make a BA successor chapter that just looks awesome. I wont use it for games probably but I want them as awesome as can be. But I need ideas, I want red, (or) blue to feature, as well as some black. I want them to seem similar to the romans in their prime in terms of 'honouryness', damn this is tough to write hahaha, i'm thinking like for example honour guards will have gold helmets and lots of lovely ornate details. I made a few schemes on the army painter, but none of them really look 'Heroic' if you know what I mean. I sort of want these guys to be like 'the most successful BA successor there ever was, but for some reason they arent around anymore. Help me!!

Here are the schemes, I can picture this sort of stuff in my head but its not working out in reality! Haha.

I like the 4th one, but would switch the wings to gold myself.

Combine the 2nd and 4th one. Red helm, bracelets, black and red kneecap.

Very nice, but yeah just resembles flesh tearers a tad too much. You may be onto something there, if it is tweaked slightly. I liked the third one on the original post a lot, though.

I like it, maybe white chapter symbols?

I'm going to run the 2 schemes below, 1 for normal troops one for veterans/commanders. Sergeants I think can just have the gold helmets, but not the shoulder pads.
