I am going to show you all an evolution of my painting. I started with AoBR and work my way up to what I have now painting and learning along the way. They are all meant to be a "Cured" fresh cloned batch of Lamenters with brand new shiny armor. I don't want to battle damage / weather them as it does not look good on gold. I may add a Agrax Earth Shade to the Silver since the color that comes out of that is really good. Besides that I was thinking of going back in with more red and black and fixing them up. Also Highlights are impossible to do on gold. For my later models - Yes they are covered in 10 dry brush coats of gold.

This is my army so far. The HQs / Specials are hilarious proxies for now till I get the real ones. I will start with what I painted first to what I painted last.

My Q's

What do you think I should do to which?

Simple Green the AoBRs ?

What do you think of my better paint jobs? My first paint Jobs?

Proxies are Lemarets, Dante, and Lib in PA lol away.

Enjoy

Hey man they look great try using some washes and what not. Also consider adding some water to the paint to smooth brush marks. It's a little hard to critique because of the picture quality but they look great overall.

I /like/ this army! The gold is flashy, arrogant and awesome, Maybe and this is just a wild idea, you could do a red wash on all the gold, give it a kinda red tinge? That would give you the reddish....

oh nevermind I miss read. A touch up or two never hurts and a light wash for definition is always a good idea. Otherwise these look great and are a pretty cool idea!

I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long
