Hey guys Ben here from Every Bit Countz! Today in the spirit of usgetting
our first batrep up tonight of my Necrons vs Grey Knights I figured Id show some of
my Necrons All Star’s. I love the new wraith models and I love being able to
actually use wraiths in the new codex. I had played Destroyer Wing / Double Lith
Necrons since 4th edition, and it was the new Codex last year that actually got me
back into the hobby! I tried to do some OBL from the green gauss parts on the
Wraith’s. These things really stand out on the table, and people have been even more
affraid of them now more than ever! I have 1 unpainted out of 6 so I hope to do a
video tutorial within the next few weeks of how I went about painting these up. Hope
you guys dig em’! CC always welcome I am deciding if I should still edge highlight
the red more or just let it have the airbrush gradient look on the carapace...? Also
I'm waiting on some custom Necron bases that I have for my infantry to come in for
these guys so dont judge the stand in basing ^.^

Check out the battle report to see these bad boys in action! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PD7hcStJY6k&feature=channel&list=UL

Were there be dragons....

I think an edge highlight might ruin the gentle graduation these guys have. They look brilliant so dont change 'em !!!

Haha, that's what I told him, especially his dice (they're green and red too!).

These look really nice. My color scheme is very similar. Is the entire painting process done with and airbrush?

@Fatboy: Thanks man I just looked at your Necrons and they are indeed really similar! You'll see how truly similar when I post some other units, I too used a lot of gold to accent parts like yours just didn't do so on these wraiths! All the red blending is done with an airbrush as well as the green glowing. But I drybrushed and highlighted my metals with regular techniques, using a black wash for the metal as well. I also blend the first 2 layers of all my gauss with regular methods , and thrakka green wash, but airbrush the top 2 highlights and glow afterwards.
