I love the grot idea! Might have to use it. I only have one squad of boys right now and they are orange skinned with vines coming out of their heads. The story is that a bit of fungus came back to Earth on a marine's boot and infected a pumpkin patch on Halloween. When the Jack'O'Dakkas grew from the pumpkins and slaughtered a small town full of trick or treaters they came to worship the holiday. I think I might make more squads with different themes. Like a whole squad of zom-boyz or something like that. Thanks for the comment! I'll post more as they are tweaked and painted.
What I did was cut up tiny strips of paper towel and super glue it to him as I went so it's rather rigid already. I'm worried about the one hanging piece eventually breaking off with transit and play but it's worth it for the look and it would be as easy as gluing another strand on. Same thing for Da Count's cloak. I added some patches later to accentuate the rattiness of the orks dressing for Halloween.
