It was taking me fr too long to get through painting all of my infantry so I decided to experiment with speed painting my plaguebearers, so earlier today I gave muself 20 minutes of painting time (not including drying time) to finish him. I am quite pleased with the results especially considering the time I spent on him. What do you think? Got any ideas for improvements that aren't too time consuming.
Thanks

Huh, thanks for the info. It doesn't look that glossy, did you water it down at all?

Straight ink? I always found Daler Rowley inks to be very... inky. How did you apply it to get that effect?

With a wash brush I applied it just like a wash directly over skull white undercoat, about a minute later I used a standard brush dry to suck pools of ink out of the crevices.

If all goes to plan, I will have a video up of how me painting it. Hopefully i will have it done by tonight Automatically Appended Next Post: So I've made the video but its not very good, I found that I kept going out of the screen and my camera was an iPhone balanced on a kitchen roll roll, I'll type the method as well because it isn't obvious from the video:
1. GW White spray
2. Daler Roley Olive green ink all over applied like a wash
3. Tamiya clear red and clear smoke mixed 1:1 applie on wounds and sores liberally with a standard GW brush
4. Bleached bone watered down applied on the spine, toenails, teeth and horn
5. Liche purple applied to the eye with a fine detail brush
6. Clean up the errors on the skin with the ink
7. Scorched brown paint on the base rim and stir land mud on the base

The only issue I have is that one side doesn't seem to have been washed as much (The second picture), so the green in the crevices looks a bit too strong.
Other than that, it's a great piece of work for 20 minutes.
