So, a couple of questions.
1. Melta guns won't get used often, and my store has a lot of
MC's, so I was thinking of swapping all the meltaguns for krak grenades on the infantry squads. That, or trading in the masters of ordnance for them. Every time I play it seems like the other guy is charging a big gribbly into my guardsmen to save it from shooting. Has anyone tried using krak grenades to discourage
MC's from charging their guardsmen? Chenkov will be able to give them
LD 8 stubborn, and I can get a reroll from regimental standards, so I can make them stay in combat fairly easily if I want to.
2. Kind of iffy on the Masters of Ordnance. I've had them pull off amazing things, and other times whiff all game. They're only 60pts for a couple of
BS 4 basilisks, but the always scatter bit really hurts them. If I drop them, what would be good things to add besides more lascannons? Upgrading the other
CCS back to a lascannon would give me 55pts to play with, which I guess I could put towards a quad gun or an icarus lascannon, which wouldn't hurt...
3. Really would like to get a 3rd Executioner in, but just can't find the points. Not really sure what to drop as I really like everything in the list as is. Do I really need a 3rd one when the first 2 can just hide behind the Aegis for a +4 save?
