I orderd some things back in September and I still have not received them over 6 weeks later. I know i live in Australia blah blah, but i order an Army Transporter from the USA on the same day and that for here 3 weeks ago.

Has anyone else had similar issues with Forgeworld

It varies. I've had things arrive within a couple weeks, where as I've also heard stories of orders taking as long as yours to arrive.

My two Forgeworld orders have been 4 weeks (snuck in before the Christmas rush) and about 2 and a half weeks (just after Tamurkhan was released).

6 weeks to Australia isn't unheard of however. Just email them or phone them and ask about the status of the order. Though remember if you email them you might not get a response for a few days.

Six weeks is longer than any of my stuff has taken to arrive (with the exception of stuff ordered at Christmas) so I'd probably call if I were you.

I ordered something on 1 Oct and got it no more than 2 weeks later, so I'd definitely call and ask, because there hasn't been an issue with other orders coming out here. Well, with my order. I guess I could be the anomaly

Because that might have a bearing on it. Sometimes when I preordered stuff, they'd just hold the whole order and ship it at once.

I ordered a Plasmacannon dreadnaught arm, SW termie bits, SW landraider and rhino doors and SW etched brass.

I sent them an email this morning asking when i should expect to receive my goods.

As was said, contact them with how long this has taken. Posting a message on their Facebook page usually is a good way to do it, as it does not cost you money/time to do so like a phone call adjusted for time zone differences.

Whenever I order something from Forgeworld I usually give it a good 3 weeks before it arrives. From what I've heard though if you were to order something that is a new release or very popular it may take longer as they try to fill orders.

The one time they did mess up an order and I waited over a month I contacted them and the acknowledge the screw up and were happy to send it out immediately upgrade to express courier free of charge and arrived about 4 days later.

It would be nice to get a postage upgrade.

I seem to remember ordering a SW Dreadnaught as well, why would i order a plasmacannon arm without a dreadnaught.. maybe i can get them to throw that in :p

Did you get notification it was shipped? (Dispatched is what the email will say i think ) You can look at the order status from your FW account.

FW is probably a bit behind because of the huge demand for Horus Heresy stuff...

None of those are pre-orders, so either one of these items was out-of-stock or the shipment may have been lost. As Insurgency Walker said, look at your account and see if it was marked as shipped (and when!).

*Sigh* my order hasnt even shipped yet :(

Wow... that's lame. I've ordered from FW twice and both shipped and arrived very quickly all things considered (I got the orders less than 2 weeks after purchase, well within my expectations).

Check with your bank. It might be that they did not release the funds.

I had that happen to me the first time I ordered from FW, as apparently the UK is a common place for identity thieves to route money through.

I received some stuff last week. Took less than 20 days to get, so I don't buy the HH angle for the delay. I did have that bank thing going but I caught it on day 1. Other things can think of are their stocks were low and they had to cast the stuff for your order. Bottom line is to communicate with them in person not by email. They'll hook you up. I think your order got sacked accidentally.

I ordered a SW vendread and some arms on the 18th, so I'll update the thread when I get them so you know orders are still coming to Aus. The order I placed on the 1/10 got here fine, but hey.

Also are you sure your local post office doesn't have it? Sometimes things don't get dropped at the door, and a note gets left to pick it up at the posties. If the note got blown away or something, that'd explain why. If its nearby, it's worth a quick check.

I ended up giving them a call and apparently it was 'stuck' in the system. The guy had to manually move it or something, anyway all sorted now.

Now I just have to wait a month for it :(

The order I places on Sunday Oct 14th shipped out early morning local time (according to my email) Tuesday Oct 16th and arrived yesterday October 23rd. Fastest FW shipment I've had.

I ordered a SW Vendred as well but on the order form it says Black Templar Vendred (i didnt even know there was one) did you have the same thing happen? Has anyone else also had this happen?

If it does end up being a Black Templar vendred does anyone want to buy it off me?

Sorry to hear it. The last order I put in with them had the exact same problem. I called them at the 8 week mark and they wound up express shipping a replacement order; which took about a week. On the plus side, it will probably have an extra kit or something bundled with it.

Ordered 2am this morning, got the dispatch notice at 11:30am this morning

Well the order got here today, and its missing the plasma cannon dreadnought arm. *sigh*

Forgot to mention got my order last Saturday all complete no miscasts. Guess it really depends what they have in stock at the time you order

Well I called up and they are sending me the plasmacannon arm and the space wolf vendred and I don't have to return the incorrect order!!!

I'm very happy with their customer service at least!
