To whom it may concern,

I am in communication with this user regarding this transaction and have been throughout every stage of the transaction. I dispute just about everything he's saying but don't want to air it on the forum. in order to avoid an argument I will not respond to seller directly in public but will post my side of the story in order to protect my reputation as a fair dealer.

I agree with the following statements by seller

1. We made a deal.
2. We disagree over the particulars of the deal after delivery, seller agrees to make amends using a partial refund for missing models and to ship additional bases for those that were shipped.
3. There is a lapse in communication; buyer notes that the window to file a paypal claim is due to expire, and files a dispute.
4. Seller mails replacements, requests that buyer drops the dispute; buyer refuses to do so before receiving the replacements in the mail.

I dispute this user's allegations of blackmail and disagree with his characterization of the disagreement between us. First, it isn't clear what I bought because neither of us bothered to keep records from the seller's advertisement--I remember 24 skinks and he remembers 12. There is no evidence that either of us is right. Second, the models in his ad were described as "new" which I took to mean that they came with appropriate bases. However, as the thread's contents were deleted there is again no evidence either way. Finally, I clearly asked the seller to send me bases slotted for the models that he sold me--the models in question need either slotted bases or a bit of conversion work to stand up properly. The seller failed to note my request and appears to have sent me unslotted bases, although they have not arrived yet.

I have not blackmailed this user in any way, shape, or form. I regret that I have to make this post and that this deal has ended up so poorly. I note that if either of us had bothered to keep a clear record of what was being bought and sold there would have been much less confusion. I ask that everyone please refrain from jumping on either party while we work this out in private.

That's not the case. I filed a dispute with paypal which doesn't give me any money; it appears to have frozen the money I paid to the seller for the models, and neither party can access it.
