I seem to remember this, and know I have heard other gamers mention it, but I am starting to think it is a bogey.

The weird Cthulhu-Chaos-occult stuff was mostly in the novels by Kim Newman, as opposed to the game rules and fluff.

You are right, there was never any demon possessed stuff in WD.
